Just got a pair of that myself a few days ago, but they're in 230V, with updated caps and transformers.

Any more details of your set putting on sale, please?  I fancy active-biamping my Maggies with four of those.  :o

7B SST SQUARED AMP, NEW FACTORY SEALED, FOR SALE....This could be your latest acquisition.

I just got the new B&W 800 Diamonds. These speakers are a dramatic improvement over my previous 802D. These will be in my home for a long long time.I have a sony 5400 sacd player, bryston bp26, bryston4b sst and torus driving them. The sound is spectacular( which I couldn't say about the previous 802D). One of the  main reasons I  went with the 800 diamond is the dealer offered me full trade in for my 802D. I really didn't expect such a dramatic improvement but am happy there is.Incidently, the bryston 4b sst has absolutely no trouble driving them to head banging levels...

Okay I tried but couldn't fight off the upgrade bug.

Purchased a better center channel for a stronger center image and more cohesive sound integration with front speakers in my multi-channel stereo set up.

Yes, I have it installed connected to my 3B ST. I'm not sure how to describe the sound. It's definitely an improvement on the 470 v4, with a tonality to it that is rich and accurate and blends well with my Studio 100's. It really throws out the vibes and its not fully broken in yet. Like other quality speakers the sound doesn't seem to be coming from the speaker, which is important because I sit fairly close. To complete the imaging illusion though it's best to listen with the lights out.

I may switch amps to the 3B SST, but at present am very pleased with the superb sound paired with the 3B ST.

The back of the speaker is contoured with 2 port holes, has bi-wire connections, weighs 39 lbs.

A new tuner. Mine is black, but the only pictures online are of the silver version.
FM, DAB and Internet Radio combined in one box. I can finally listen to Q107 on my stereo (and pray they soon will up the kbps rate)

As far as the break in Period goes, My Paradigms took around 9 months before they were broken in.
A suggestion a very low volume white noise for about 2 weeks or so. And play at low levels.

I was wondering if it had be already broken in.
