so far I like it. I was using a simple Cambridge Azur MM/MC phono stage. The Phenomena 2+ has so many settings to match any cartridge. The settings can be set separately for each channel and they are located on the back of unit not inside where some have you remove the cover to access the switches. Very easy to set up and small foot print. Mine is in black. I like the ability to change the gain even for a MM cartridge like the Zephyr or my yet to try Orton 2M Black.  :thumb:

I have on order a pair of the all new Focal Sopra 2 floorstanding speakers.  :thumb:

Great choice, Samerai  :thumb: I have about 250 hours on mine (white).  They sound fabulous paired to the 7B SST2's straight out of the box and even more so now.

Nothing fancy, but working wonders at the moment. Had to revive my 17" mid 2009 MacbookPro, because of all the spinning Beachballs I was experiencing with a full 500Gb hdd.

2tb Hdd Seagate Spinpoint:

Battery:

and most of all, to make the transfer a breeze as simple as it could be: Bombich's Carbon Copy Cloner

All in all, for round and about 200 E, I am now enjoying Bryston MM and Plex in all its 17" glory again  :thumb: :thumb:

Cheers,
Marius

BDA-2, not shown 2.5 cubed, used BP25 and all Bryston cables. The amp is being borrowed out for the week.  Using Cyrus CDT as a transport until the Pi becomes available.  These are all new except the 25 of course.  In the mean time I'm using a Cyrus stereo 200 for power.

Balanced ins & outs cables for my BHA-1 and this. Still burning it in. Legit SQ improvement in all dimensions.

Thanks, Nordkapp. My headphone amp (Polaris) rig in den might benefit from one.

From what I have read, if you are coming out of the common lap or desk top drive it is worth it, as I am. Plus also my DAC is only 5v usb powered. It may not be worth it so much for a dedicated music server. The balanced ic's and this thing have me blown away. Never did I imagine such profound improvement.
