Had my turntable in for servicing and the next thing I knew I had it attached to the tonearm.  Much rejoicing occurred when I brought it home and gave it a listen with my setup... it's a keeper.

That's a good cart.

The speakers are the Legacy Foucus SE bi-wired with the Bryston cable.

Bat 32SSE up top.
I like the Legacy's. They like to be played loud.I had infinity IRS Epsilons powered by 2 4Bst. One Emin went and I couldn't get a replacement so I parted out the Infinity's. The Legacy are a more refined version of the Infinity's. The bass is definitely tighter with the Legacy's and the Infinity's even had an outboard servo control unit. The highs and midrange also seem smoother but that could be the 7BSsT/2. Prior to the Infinitys I had the Thiel 3.6.
The Pangea's not sure but the Bit 20 did make a noticeable difference.

Thanks!........I think that open bottom shelf will be for the new Bryston headphone amp. I guess I need to straighten out my pictures on the wall.
I'm trying to talk the wife into some new front speakers for the home theater system. :duh:

Mostly in the power amp. This may be due to the fact that it's the older 4BST model. We have been over this issue so many times but what effect power cables have must depend a lot on equipment involved (IMO). In my case the overall greater smoothness and silence was worth the cost. Dynamics seem to increase as well. :weights:

...congrats on the BIT, Larevoj!  :thumb:

the front indicates only 'BIT' and not the type (BIT5, BIT15 or BIT20). is this a special order??

thanks,

al.

No - we changed the front to only say BIT - that way we only need one faceplate which keeps costs down.
