Hi Emil,

What type of speakers that your friends own are you comparing your VSAs to?

My brother has ML Prodigy and my other hifipal has got a pair of vr 4 gen 1. Its not that my speakers sound bad but i miss some brightness. ive tried to move them in every direction. Ive tried with different speakercables. Almost anything i think..

Hi
I own the same speakers as yours.
What kind of gear are you using and are you running single or bi-amp?
How is your first reflection treated?

Have you tried with a different amplifier, maybe somthing wrong with it.
Thanks

I have nuforce 9 se v2 and i also tried with a Mark Levinsson 334. I have a krell kps 20i/L that i exchanged with a AR cd3 and Krell KRC 2 but the problem remains. Nordost balanced cables and for speakercables i have harmonic tech 9

Do you have heavy curtains and lots of soft furnishings?

Hi
Great room but this is not the best placement for the speakers to be in. You must have some different stereo image in the left and right channel due to that the left has opening in the back compared to the right and that the bass must be wrong also. Meaning, there is no symetry between left and right speakers. You should try to to place the speakers in different position.

"Det är inget fel på din engelska" :D
Thanks

Hi
Send some more pictures, I would like to see how your listening position looks like. About the curtains, it dosen't matter or would help with your treble problem.

I do belive that you have problems with your bass response and that causes the treble problem. You have to do some room measurements to actually see what the problem is. I can do it for you if it is not far from my home.
Where do you live in Sweden?
Thanks

Hi
Very far, as south as one possibly could go. Well, that's pitty, but keep tweaking.
Thanks

Yes.
I moved them closer to the backwalls.. strange but it works. I think they become more stable that way. First i had them 140cm from the wall and now 70!
