Hiya Guys,

You guys know I don't normally self-promote any of my articles but a number of people were interested in my thoughts about the i-Fi chair. Well, I finally finished the article and it's Live on EnjoyTheMusic.com

World Premiere of the i-Fi Chair

As I say at the onset, it's a long one. I think I covered most every aspect of the Chair.

Hopefully you EnjoyTheArticle  :thumb:

...oh, and don't beat me up too bad, I take a little different stance on some 'established norms'

If the women are stock, this thing has a cooler and can be waterproofed, a swivel mount can be affixed to the bottom of the chair, Jeff can add seat belts and fishing rod holders (preferably one on the right and one on the left) so as to not interfere with the mounted speakers I think he may have just invented the perfect audiophile-fish fighting chair in existence.

I can dream can't I?  I'm sure I can talk my brother into getting one for his boat :eyebrows:.

Not too much WAF with any of those chairs.  :|

Hiya Chris (Wolfy)

It's not too heavy. The backrest comes off to cut down the weight some. Still, assembled it's well over 200 pounds so you definitely need help moving it around. :weights:

Smashing review Scott,,, you had me at Holy $hit.  :thumb:  But what really amazes me after reading this extensive review was the pricetag. Just $4000,,, you gotta be kidding me.  :o  I paid $2700 for my Ekornes Stressless recliner and there was no holy $hit included at all.   3D soundstage imaging is a pet peeve of mine so you had me   when you brought that up as a solid feature of this chair.  :green:

Thanks for taking the time to link up this review for us here at AC Scott, have a happy Memorial Day.  :thumb:

Cheers,
Robin

Thanks Robin,

Knowing you and Rock music, you'd absolutely fall in love with this thing. It images like crazy. You know, like all of us who get a new toy, those 'new' feelings tend to fade in time, this one hasn't. I'm still spending an hour or so each day in the chair either listening to music or watching a movie. It's pretty darned cool  :thumb:

Who knows, maybe one of the big high end AV dealers in NYC will pick up the line and you can make the 5 hour trip to check one out  :green:

Whew :roll:I'm still trying to finish the article. Scott, great job on the article
But now I must admit that "I don't want to work, I just want to sit in the chair
All day"

Interestingly enough the WAF is actually very high --

Maybe it's because it's not conventional and then again maybe it's because of the vibration. Get out and let your wife try it -
