Tube CAD and windows 64bit

For any of you that own some of the Tube CAD companion programs, be aware that Tube CAD and Audio Gadgets are old enough to be compiled in a 16bit and won't run under 64bit Windows.

However, they will run quite happily under a 32bit OS such as WinXP running in a virtual machine. I am using Sun VirtualBox (free for personal use) to run XP in a VM and Tube CAD runs just fine that way. There is one thing that must be done and that is to install a printer, any printer, in the VM. Tube CAD checks for a printer at start up and will throw a GPF error if one isn't found. Thanks to John Broskie for cluing me in on that fact.
