My neighbor asked me for some suggestions.  I know for a fact lots of you folks know more about HT than me - so help me out if you will.

The next generation of receivers have started to be announced.  Pioneer has announced their line and it is located at www.pioneerelectronics.com.  Denon has also recently announced new models -  http://www.crunchgear.com/2010/04/26/denon-rolls-out-10-new-av-receivers/
