All,
This is a very preliminary review, better yet, initial impressions of the Clarity Harvest II interconnects out on tour. Bill was gracious enough to let me be first in line for these really nice interconnects.
Upon receipt, I gave the cables a quick listen before placing them on the ISOTEK burn-in CD for the recommended 75 - 100 hours. Initial impressions at the 24 hour mark; these cables do the midrange and bass very well, have a very nicely defined soundstage, and have exceptional tone. The top end was good, but not on the same plane as the rest of the audio spectrum. A most intriguing aspect was that they were very quiet, as if some type of damping were in place. The cables have very substancial connectors, and may be a contributing factor. I will check in with Bill on that.
At the 50 hour mark everything started to even out, bass, midrange, treble were now of the same quality. These are very nice, with cleanly defined imaging and stage depth. They do piano and voice very well. If I had the characterize their temperature, it would be on the slightly warm side of neutral. I will give a follow-up after final break-in next week.
