You are correct. We have secure wifi connected with service uplinked via satellite to either kuwait or Europe, not sure. We also get Armed Forces Network (televison) via sat - although that is down right now. This is a tricked out desert island. Most FOB's have MWR internet and AFN.

. It seems strange to be here in my comfortable, safe house communicating with you somewhere out in the minefields of Iraq. Ah... the wonders on modern technology.
