This album has always been a favourite of mine, and it's nice to have a 24/96 version. Will try out the 5.1 version tonight.

Foo Fighters are not known for their quality mixes and mastering, which they once again prove with this recording. Also, the music has a "more of the same" feeling to me. I don't feel a progress or evolution as a band in it.
Not impressed.

Mostly recorded in Dave Grohl's garage so no doubt not an audiophilic delight. I'm kind of up and down with this band ( they make great singles ) but I like where Grohl is coming from a lot of the time - minimal bull. The anti-Chad Kroeger.
