I think it is. I already own some of the Chesky 96/24 Rebecca Pidgeon. I guess my point is the 96/24 stuff (which I believe is native) is $17.98 for the album (or $14.98 on sale, usually) the $12 jump for 192/24 (and likely an upampled version) is just not worth it in my books.

I asked HDTracks about the genesis of the 176.4/24 version and whether they upsampled their hi-res music. I got what I believe was a canned response:
"Thank you for your inquiry. None of our titles are upsamples. They were all created directly from the masters in native 96/24." I have responded asking how the native 96/24 morphed into a 176.4/24 without upsampling. I am awaiting their next offering.
