Yes I looked him up just after you told me.He died DEC 2 2009.I always felt he was one of the finest.Nobody has a voice like that.I agree,for APP he was perfect.

I do not remember if I have ever played this CD on this system - what can I say, I am no longer surprised when my system’s performance surprises me now and then.

Incidentally, an anniversary of sorts this weekend - the “beasties” have been on the shelf for one year. Where does the time go?

Great album! I seriously believe that Pink Floyd is a band that surpasses trends, and fads. It's a damn shame they couldn't keep it going.

Oh. I am also listening to this album, thanks to Laundrew.

You really should try to find the 24 carat gold Mastersound version of this album. It sounds SO MUCH better! I own this album in 3 versions, the Mastersound is the only one played. The other 2 are just for "listen how crap they sound compared to the Mastersound one".

Incidentally, because of this post it is also what I am listening to right now.

My system continues to amaze me sometimes as well. When my parasites are at school and my sweetie at work I frequently sit down to really listen to everything (music and system) and I aways here new things... I love my gear
