A fresh approach to Beethoven's works for violin. Check the video. Maybe this should be the future (i.e. forget CDs; get concert records on Blu-Ray).

Checking how CDs were made cca. 1990. This one sounds absolutely fabulous (for pop music that is). Compared to contemporary bass heavy, muffled productions, this one was done just right. Sparkling treble without klipsch horns lol. The funny thing is that it was mastered by the same studios that butchered Gotan's CD (see the "Atrocious CDs" thread). Oh, it's done in Q-sound too.
