Indeed. I wonder if Kevin Voecks still works with Snell or if he is exclusively with Revel at Harmon? Either way, Snell was a fine loudspeaker company and their speakers measured exceptionally great for a conventional non-waveguide based design, especially the latest offerings in the last 2 years.

The loss of Snell is bigger than Escient, IMO.

Yea, thats a shame...wonder how it will affect companies like Outlaw who used Snell designs/manufacturing?

A sad day for audio, as one more venerable brand goes the way of the Dodo.  SNELL, you will be missed.  Escient, hardly knew you ain't gonna miss you.
