jtwrace - I'm not sure I understand your question? What I think you're asking is why don't I use super expensive, solid platinum, cryo treated plugs and IECs? The answer is simple. There's no need for that nonsense in an AC power cable. My design goal is to make the very best cables that I know how and find the most reasonably priced components to reach that goal. I know for a fact that a platinum/gold/cryo treated connector plug will spec worse than a standard plug from Hubbell, Pass & Seymour, Marinco, etc. and will cost at least 50 times more. I refuse to use such parts because the cost of the cable will increase exponentially and the cable will perform worse. But if you want a cable like that and can afford it, I'll be more than happy to make one for you dBe - I agree with everything you say about XLR cables except for hanging shields. Hanging shields are utilized for broken pro equipment, or when mixing consumer electronics with pro electronics (i.e. going from a Goldmund preamp via XLR to an Electro Voice crossover, this can cause a hum).mjosef - Money back guarantee within 30 days, not including any shipping costs, just like the first post says. And not including any promos, or any strange special order configurations. And yes, I have no problem whatsoever going against the Grover's.

jtwrace - I'm saying that cryo is a complete joke. And plugs with exotic metals perform worse electrically.BobM - I'm making all the samples right now and will be getting them out by middle of next week, that's the goal. They will include: 1m XLR, 1.5m XLR, 1m RCA, 1.5m RCA, 2m AC, 2m AC, 1m RCA Digital, and 15ft. speakers wires.
I'm saying that cryo is a complete joke.

I'm not a big believer in cryo, but some people are. I would probably say, "I haven't seen any performance advantages in cryogenically treating connectors or cables, and therefore don't incorporate them in my products".
exotic superconductors!!! Now these would truly be the best cables in the world
