Hey GASer's, I know you haven't done much lately... how many of you would be interested in going to one of the newest and worlds nicest recording studio?.. It's in our backyard and the owner will be gracious enough to give a tour along with a Q&A session...

Aw, I thought it was going to be Abbey Roads in London
I'm up for it as long as I'm not working.

Might be kind of hard to find since they don't post an address for the studio. Here is what I got from a search of their phone number:

Like electricbear, if I'm not working, I'd love to head downtown and see this thing.  Cool idea!

Seemed like a fair question to me. I was waiting for someone else to say "Where is it?" since you did not say and the owner does not list his address on his website. I was a little surpised when members offered to go when they didn't know where they were going.  :dunno:

I'd be interested in going through the studio. I know exactly where it is (drive by it on the way to work every day.)

Any date/time in mind yet?

Let me know when.  If you guys go on a weekend, it might be a perfect excuse for a long overdue STL visit.

Well, I talked to Chris and he said he can do a Saturday tour and should be able to get his engineer to be there as well for a Q&A session... now what Saturday to choose? I am open for suggestions...

Likely couldn't make it this Saturday.  I currently have no travel plans for work now through April.  Given enough notice, I should probably be able to make any Saturday now through April, except April 10.  Got a bachelor party in Memphis that weekend.

A plus is if I can also squeeze in a chance to check out some Pink Floyd on vinyl at Scott's.  Eh Scott. . . ehhhhh?????  If not, who wants to make a field trip / GAS gathering day?  Come-on. . .someone step-up and volunteer their place! :P  Maybe I can talk one of my STL friends in joining in and turn him over to the dark-side.  8)

Don't forget Saturday May 1st is the Zu in St Lou bash out at my place. Lots going on behind the scenes on the event. Once I get it all finalized, I'll make a separate post.

Hey Paul and anybody else for that matter, absolutely, come on by  :thumb: Besides the vinyl rig you can check out the Cornzilla's, and the i-Fi Chair, both of which are WAY too much fun  :thumb:
