I just got "Pulse" in the mail today. Wow this is great. The sound is amazing. Most concert DVDs seem to be a little hot on the top end but this one is perfect. Might actually be my new reference. And this is out of my crappy $60 Sammy player via glass optical into my DAC.

The staging is pretty stunning, but maybe a little over the top. I mean do we really need lasers and flash pots now? I've never seen so many lights.

I dunno, the music is so good, they just don't seem to need all the excess. But I guess that's what people expect from a Floyd show, especially after Animals and The Wall.

Kinda funny seeing Nick Mason. He looks like a guy who might be teaching 10th grade Bio, but he rocks his ass off.

You're gonna love it. The sound is so good, you'd be happy without any video. Dunno how they did it in a live recording. Just spot on for mix and mastering. And it will test your system at volume, there's some serious low end stuff.

Some great playing by the hired guns, Tim Renwick on guitar, Guy Pratt on bass and the legendary Dick Parry on saxes. Parry looks like he must be 80 or something but he just nails it, like he did, what 36 years ago on DSothM.

Can you tell I like this?  :D

Where did you other guys get Delicate Sound of Thunder? VHS??

Do not post links, etc. to torrents and the like, as it is not legal.  :nono:

I removed the offending posts.  Sorry I missed it earlier.

Gilmours Remember That Night is a phenomenal sounding and looking Blu-Ray.

Lots of Floyd songs, Bowie, Crosby, Nash all join in...lots of fun.

I wish there was a version of this that concentrated on the band and left out a lot of the visual effects crap. The music is SO good. The guys seem to be having fun, which is what I want to see in a live performance. I'd rather watch them than the animated video stuff.

The sound quality on this is first rate. This could be my new reference recording.
