Let us know the one you pickup.

there website only carries one It's 1.99 . I have to see how big or small it is and maybe cut it down to size. Only aluminum so it will be easy.

Which opa627 is the right one for the dac?  Digikey and Mouser both are giving me way to many options to pick from.

I went to Martin's place to drop off the Maverick and spent a pleasant few hours listening to his system.  I'll let Martin described his listening impressions after a few days with the dac.  Buddy came by with his new diy nos dac.  He installed some better caps than what came with the kit.  Buddy's new dac is smooth and analog sounding to my ears, similar to my modded DI/O but with a little less detail.  It's certainly a non-fatiguing sound.

When I got home, found a package waiting for me.  It was the 5 sleeve GE 5670W from one of my suppliers.  Too bad they didn't arrive yesterday, so I could try one of the GEs on the Maverick.  These are new in the box (NOS), not used.  Deepak, Evan and Mariusz pm me for delivery.

I forgot to mention that before I brought the dac to Martin's place, I tried the ss output on my vintage Scott LK-72 integrated amp.  This is one situation where the ss output actually improve the sound for my listening tastes.  Using this combo, the sound transform from a lush, mid-range dominant emphasis to lesser warmth in a good way.  Vocals did not emphasize the chest area as much and the highs were more distinguishable, although resolution and detail are still lacking compared to a more modern tube amp like my modded Jolida.  So, if anyone has a classic vintage sounding tube amp and want to tilt the tonality closer to neutral, then this might be a cheap and cheerful solution.

Thanks Paul and Buddy for swinging by and spending a few hours rotating between the 'guests' DACs. The Maverick and Ikea (Buddy's DIY)DACs are like the north and south poles of DAC speak, upsampling and non-upsampling.
The only early impression I have is with regard to image placement in the soundstage, The Maverick's is more forward, whereas the  Ikea's is further back...some 2-3 feet deeper. That is what I heard from where I was sitting off to the side, visiting guests get the sweet spot.

After we a hour or so into the comparison, I remembered that my current DAC, Zhaolu, had a built in Felix(PK v.1), which meant that to keep the comparison on a 'level playing field', the visiting DACs should have the same edge. On correcting that variable, I think we all noticed a remarkable improvement from both the Maverick and the iKEA...tighter cleaner sound all around.
I am anxious to get back home, after my dog-sitting duties are over...more to report soon.   :eyebrows:

I am freaking the dog out with weird sounds, keeps looking at the speakers...

Is this the opamp for the headphone amp section?  If so, I'll pass.
