Those do look very nice!  I see you painted the back of the bottom servo like PDR did.  Just a simple brush on?

Good work, ENJOY!

Thanks everyone, I am extremely happy with them :)

Lower mids were a bit thick at first and the very top was a little shrill but after about 200 hours they sound like different speakers, smooth and detailed top to bottom and the best quality bass I have ever heard, and I've spent full weeks at the CES show.

I covered the backs of the lower sub magnets with enolite, it's a thin self stick foam I use in car audio:

Only did it as the silver magnet covers were visible through the speaker cloth and distracts me :)

Hi Steven, man they look good, but how is the bass, open baffle speakers sound thin with bass, the best
speaker system is the infinite baffle closed type... :green:

Hi George, I don't know exactly how they do it, others can explain it better, but not only do these have fantastic bass quality (fast, detailed, controlled) but they also have powerful slam, 100db down to 20Hz and they can thump no worries, without the boom of other subs. Come over for a listen!  :thumb:

You obviously haven't heard our servo control system. They play flat to 20Hz and are -3db down in the teens.

Yep......been there done that.....no contest.
These are my second set of OB servos....2 of the V series....

You can try to explain, they dont believe....they havnt heard.
Its like trying to describe your first flight on an airliner to someone thats never flown....
They think they get it....till they fly, then they understand........awesomeness.... :D

Thats a great explanation Steve....mine are starting to come around now, about 50 hrs or so.....can hardly wait.
Too bad i have to wait so long cause I work out of town so much....

Thanks Perry, the bass doesn't seem to have changed at all to my ears. The mids and top end sure have though. Not sure if it's the driver or network burn in, bit of both I guess but maybe more the drivers.

On first listen male vocals sounded like they had unnaturally deep bass in them, that is completely gone now :) There was some sibilance on the highest frequencies but that is gone now too.

Imaging is very good but not the best I have heard, still need to play with the position/diffusers/absorbers etc :)
