Bill,

The SCC300 is obtained only from www.soniccraft.com .

I must offer that the SCC300 is really a woofer intended to produce bass to 300hz.  It also happens produce nicely in the very low hz zone too.  As "subwoofers" go, the SCC300 will be cleaner, but lack the drone and boom some folks desire.   It errors slightly on the lean side in the 20-30hz zone to avoid drone in most rooms.  This is intentional.

As Jack mentioned, he didn't care for the "subwoofer" bass of the SCC300.  He wanted more for HT.  I agree with his position on this and apprecaite his contribution.

Do not underestimate the SCC300's ability for HT. I am very happy with my 4.0 cubic feet sealed subwoofer. It is heavily braced with 3/4" Baltic birch braces and BB/MDF 1.5" sandwich for front and back.  Integrating with my 1801s was done using a Hypex HS200 which has an active crossover, low-pass and high-pass filters.  I bought Jackman's SCC300 with the intent of making stereo subs later this year.
