Dave sent me these pictures before he boxed it up.  There are 18 outlets and two 20A IEC inputs.  Other then that, Dave would need to explain...What do you think?

Very cool, jtwrace.  Is this something that is going to be available to the rest of the audio consumer world?  Price?

That's a lot of outlets...are you running a large audio store??

Can't wait to hear what you think of it.

I have built a bunch of custom units.  This is the most extensive and was built to address Jason's unique requirements.  It is not intended to be a production model.  Price?  Uhm... negotiable.

I'll be happy to build you anything you want within reason    :eyebrows:

Thanks for responding, Dave!  Understood.  I did check your website earlier and this unit seems basically like an UberBuss on steroids, so to speak.  :thumb:

I'll have to give this some thought.

Thanks,
Jake

Dave,
Love the way the MuthaBuss looks!  Reminds me of the Dodd Audio preamp and I love that look!  The laser engraved logo is Saweet! :)

I'm not so jealous anymore. Given how close jtwrace is to me, I would just have to hop in the car for an hour for an audition!

We are finalizing our house plans, including the theater/audio room and I too have wondered about installing a muthabuss right into the wall so that all outlets are comfortably conditioned  :eyebrows:

Enjoy jt!

Anand.

Mark, let me hit the high points for you.  I'll let Jason fill in details if he wants to.

9 duplex outlets: 3 Furutech FI15A gold ; 6 Pass & Seymour 5262 Spec Grade
The 3 Furutech are mounted with single covers to allow for large power
cables and a couple of big wallwarts that power his Wavelength Cosecant
Crimson, hard drives and such.  The other 6 duplexes are behind a six
     gang stainless steel cover.

2 gold plated Furutech FI33 20A inlets with specific circuit allocation per inlet

5 separate filter networks withindividual PFC networks for each duplex outlet.
One filter is specific to his 300 watt monoblocks; one to the digital gear.
Each individual filter is specifically designed for its' specific application.
The other 3 filters are for other pieces of gear.

The unit is wired with the same wire used for the power cables in the system.

Carefully and specifically selected components in the PFC networks including HV Sonicaps in the end filters.

Curly maple faceplate to match his Dodd Buffer with a Baltic birch case.

That pretty much covers it.

Thanks, Rich.  When Jason and I began discussing this unit we had just received our Dodd gear and I told him I had some nice curly maple that would make a nice match to the Dodd faceplates.  I have a friend that does laser engraving.  I like it, too.
