I have the original Ascend Acoustics speakers, the CBM-170's and love them.  Image like champs and very musical.  Too good for the 5.1 system where I use them LF and RF.  They filled in recently while the drivers in my main system speakers were out for upgrades and held up very well (actually unbelievable for $350/pair).

I had the pleasure of reviewing the Sierra 1's a couple of years back. David Fabrikant is a great guy, and the Sierra 1's are without question, excellent speakers. While I personally feel their performance is more where it should be given their price, I could understand why others get so excited about them.
