Mint condition, full-featured preamp (tone controls, processor loop, etc) with optional remote control (no phono).  February, 2008 build.  EC+ upgrades (6CG7 tubes, top plate stand-offs) bringing it up to the latest rev. of this great preamp - original 6N1P tubes also included so you can experiment if you wish.

Could be confusing if one isn't bang up to date on the AVA line-up, which isn't always easy seeing as the web site isn't up to date.  I believe this is upgraded to the Ultra EC+ which, as the op says, is the latest revision of the Ultra EC.  The Avastar is a new pre that AVA has launched but isn't on their web site yet.

The "new" AVA web site is still in the works, hopefully up and running within 30 days.

I have been so swamped getting all the new products ready to ship that I have not been able to pay enough attention to the web site for the past couple of months.

I have time to really dig into that now, assuming you don't interrupt me too much placing orders.
