Been auditioning, on loan from a friend, the A/V-3 and I am really impressed with the sound. For this kind of money these kits are exceptional.

Cheers.

Thanks Steve,

I am glad to hear that you are enjoying them.

Oh yes I am enjoying them immensely. They are doing alot, alot of things very nicely. The soundstage is very nice, and the voices are very real sounding. Playing Pictures at the Exhibition, performed by Jean Guillou on pipe organ, shows what these babies can do in the lower registers. And no bloated bass or cabinet resonances to degrade the sound. Astonishing how they can do bass so well.

Very nice job Danny.

Keep in mind that as good as that speaker is, it is still in my AV series (budget priced, bang for the buck level). As you move up the ladder into my more expensive models, the performance does up quite a bit as well.

I heard the A/V-3 at Danny's place several months ago and I was blown away with the performance of this speaker.  It really made me want to build a pair and I don't even have a place for them.
