Selling my Rotel RSP-976 Surround Sound Preamp. I'm the original owner, purchased from an authorized dealer back in 2001. At the time it was Rotel's top of the line processer but has since been replaced by upgraded models. I used it for about 4 years before replacing it and it's been sitting in my basement since. I recently took it out to make sure it was still in working order and was surprised how well it sounded in my office system (with Vandersteen 1C speakers, Rotel amp and Rotel CD player). Think of it as a very good 2 channel preamp with Dolby Digital and DTS processing thrown in for free. It would work very well mated with a good DVD or Blu-Ray player connected with 5 channel analog inputs.
