i just heard nuforce for the first time and amazed at the wonderful sound and size of the soundstage. does nuforce need to be powered up at all times?

I ve had mine though the upgrades for close to 5 years now and have never turned them off. Especially the SE edition due to keeping the capacitors charged. These amps are like a Lays Potato chip you cant just listen once. Enjoy the music.

so bizarre, but I also concur.

That make sense because the electronics circuit is operating in a more steady temperature range (as compared to power up from room temp). All the solid state electronics have an optimal operating range.
