Sometimes just running them will act as a Beano, prior to discard we give them an 8 hour burn to see if the gas and H-K will correct itself. Gas is typically a sign of 'imperfect' vacuum, bad vacuum will of course be indicated by the more noticeable things that anyone can see is not right.
