I've thought about this enough to finally register in a local class that involves my assembling a small integrated amp over the next few weeks. This took some self-persuasion since I've never even soldered a joint in my life though I am usually willing to turn my hand to most things. I'm enthused enough to throw myself into learning more so I am now looking for basic readings on the electronics of tube amps. I feel sure this must have been asked here before by my searching has not turned up too many relevant leads so can I ask, most humbly, if anyone has recommendations for basic (and I mean basic) introductions to electronics (books, websites, articles etc.)? I'd be happy to summarize for the edification of other late developers like me (assuming such a summary is not sitting somewhere on AC already
