I know this was covered pretty recently, but I can't find it anywhere...
I have my TV connected from its RCA audio outs to my B60. I hear a good amount of hum through the speakers when on this input, and a lower but still noticable amount through the other inputs (except the phono input).
Its not the TV or the interconnects - a new TV does the same thing and interconnects were swapped to confirm. The hum hasn't increased or decreased.
The TV being on or off makes no difference.
I unplugged the cable from the TV and it was gone in every input. I don't use a cable box with the TV in my listening room.
By process of elimination, I'm pretty confident the problem is the cable wire.
Now for the $64k question -
What can I do to get rid of the hum? I don't have enough inputs on the B60 to directly connect everything I have going into the TV and my music sources and I can't use the optical out from the TV. And I refuse to give the cable company another dime to 'rent' another cable box and remote.
