You're welcome! Nah, don't worry about it...I'll read it here on the web.

Another nice review on the BDA-1 from Positive Feedback Magazine - this time as a comparison to another fine DAC.

Do the right thing. Opt in for "electronic / no paper bill".

James -

How do your engineers feel when they see power cords like these connected to the end of the gear they designed -

Well I guess it acts a reference for them so I am OK with it.

Stu, I'm trying to understand if you're saying that's a good or bad thing to have these kinds of power cords connected to your equipment.  Can you elaborate on what you're saying to help me understand your thinking??

Wayne,

I use an aftermarket cord too.  Not saying it's a bad thing, I just think it's something that probably drives engineers crazy.  James has spoken of a few things that drive his engineers crazy, like how they say there's no difference in sound after an hour or so of warm up, yet James says his gear sounds best after 3 days or so.

Not a shot at anyone, just a question.

The addition of the BDA-1 has brought better dynamics, wonderful extension to the top end, thunderous bottom end, exquisit mid range, huge sound stage, and the timimg ... my-O-my the timing is wonderful!

Man, your system must have sounded like complete rubbish before.  Good thing you picked up this new DAC...

Nothing more important than a good front end, it changes everything. Arguably the most important piece in your system .. the source.

If your source is garbage, the best the rest of the system can do is pass along said garbage.  Garbage in, garbage out.
