Can I replace the 6n1p directly with 6cg7 with no mods,Thanks,Paul

6CG7 or 6fq7 is directly interchange able with the 6n1p without any mods
i like the tube when i don't need so much gain. Great stuff. Get the clearbottle types

 Hey Paul try RCA 6FQ7s, great tubes. Better tone IMO than the 6N1P.
