I would strongly suggest contacting ModWright and getting a replacement from the factory. The are tens to hundreds of manufacturers who make switches like that pictured each offering options like normially open, normially closed, spring loaded or latching. My opinion is it is worth a few extra bucks to pay ModWright's overhead to avoid the crap shoot of trying to reverse engineer the part.

Thank you,

and the supplied link doesn't work.

I received 1 email from Dan who asked for a picture of the switch but heard nothing since. That was 2 weeks ago.

I don't know if the switch has been sent or not , I didn't receive confirmation that he received my email with the picture on or anything.

My power switch has a broken connection inside due to some damage from the courier (it wasn't purchased brand new). I've managed to butcher it do make the circuit but now the preamp can only be powered down by pulling the cable from the rear.

As you can imagine , this is less than ideal and I'd like a replacement switch. I'm not fussed on where it comes from or how much I have to pay for the thing. I'm just a bit frustrated that I can't actually get hold of the manufacturer to order the part, never mind find a suitable replacement anywhere online.

I'm located in the UK.

cheers
