FS: PMC DB1+ in cherry finish
« on: 14 Nov 2009, 12:47 am »
I have a pair of PMC DB1+ monitors for sale. These are exceptional speakers for their small size. Michael Fremer reviewed the newst version in this month's Stereophile. Asking $550 plus shipping double boxed in original package.
Issues: there is a scratch on the top of one speaker. The other speaker has a very small rub mark on the front bottom left corner.
Sonically perfect.
My email address is listed in my profile.

Thought I'd add another pic. Although I used the speakers bi-amped without the straps, the shorting bars are available. aa.

Is the low frequency tuning for this loudspeaker a transmission line?

Thanks,
Anand.

Quote from PMC's web site:
"The recently upgraded DB1+ is the world's smallest transmission line monitor and produces outstanding dynamics, exceptional sound staging and incredibly deep bass, never before heard from a cabinet so small.
The DB1+ is ideal for stereo and surround applications for small and medium sized rooms. Reduction in scale however imposes no constraint on reproduction quality."
PMC calls there take on the transmission line ATL for advanced transmission line.
