adcom gfa-555 vs parasound hca-1200

which is the better sounding of the two and why? anyone have an opinion?

THe adcom has more warmth and a fuller body, the Parasound (HCA1000) is leaner and maybe more detailed. To arrive at a "better" assessment would depend on the rest of your system and the kind of sound the listener prefers.
