It would be interesting to test one of these after the mod. 

So many times when we see this kind of change it makes things worse because the 'modder' does not understand the interplay between all the various parts in a given circuit.

Based on "Trueharmonic's" eloquence and meaty technical details, I seriously can't imagine even one taker.
 
My answer would be "this not work".
