The original ad for the Le Amp II is sold.
For sale is another pair of nOrh Le Amp II monoblock but read the following CAREFULLY:
- one has a slight audible hum when no signal is present, but not audible once the music starts playing.
- one died upon first powering up after I hooked it up.
I'm not sure what is wrong with the dead amp, but from nOrh's website, the board's are modular and might be an easy fix. I'm not handy with electronics so I'm not messing with it.
The one with the hum might also be an easy fix, nOrh told me: "when you look at the back of LA2 it's will have a station to plug in the microphone. If the customer doesn't use it they can cut the wiring inside the L2A. The Hum will be gone."
So if you know electronics or know someone that does, this could be a killer deal, because you'll be getting at least one amp that works. Cosmetically, they are in perfect condition, rated 9/10.

Le Amp II uses a full-bit 800 V/A switching power supply. This means there is a 1600 V/A capacity for two channels. Le Amp's switching power supply is very advanced, also class A JFET input, Bipolar Output, DC Servo, and no negative feedback.
