Bought a collection, 29 audiophile records for 250 bucks. Covers without ring wear, from a smoking household but they are airing out nicely and the vinyl is pristine clean and quiet.2 copies American Beauty, Tea for the Tillerman, Magical Mystery Tour, Abbey Road, Abraxas, Born to Run, Feel So Good, a couple Men at Work, Breakfast in America, Sticky Fingers, Days of Future Passed, The Doors, Hot August Night, Cosmo's Factory, ELO Greatest Hits, a couple of classical, Doobie Brothers, Dark Side of the Moon, Ziggy Stardust, Fly Like an Eagle, Waiting for Columbus, Aja, Aqualung, Fleetwood Mac, E.C. Slowhand, Georgen Benson Breezin'. Whew, that's a mouthful. I think I hit the motherlode!!!!Paul
5 new additions, 3 used and 2 new. King Crimson is the 200g remastered LP (I have an original pressing) and Dire Straits is the 180g double album remastered version to go along with an original pressing. I couldn't pass up The Ventures double album--mint condition as is New Riders. This is my first Roches album.
My King Crimson is in terrible shape was this a local deal or mail order Laura. Thanks.........Bill
I bought the King Crimson from Soundstage Direct http://www.soundstagedirect.com/king-crimson-in-the-court-of-the-crimson-king-limited-edition-200-gram-vinyl-lp.shtml
And gifted to me from my friend Bill ,the following...Robin Trower ..... Twice Removed From Yesterday
Like the last 3 entries.Regarding 5 & 6, isn't the 1st name Chet?
While in Portland to see The Decemberists Saturday night, and watch my oldest daughter run a half marathon (1hr 32 min), I spent Satruday morning and afternoon at Music Millenium, two Jackpot Records locations and 2nd Avenue Records and came home with these:The top 4 are new vinyl. The Neil Young is a first pressing with the correction sticker stating that "If You Got Love" is not on the album. This is the 4th different pressing of DOFP in my collection and the Genesis is an unintended dupe because I forgot I already owned it. Bill, none of these came from the $1.00 bin. Laura
Doubles and no $1 records Shame Shame Shame on you

Saw them last year, have tickets for this April at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI, ideal place for concerts. Saw The Hazards of Love last year, what a great show!Got a MoFi DOFP now, so until I see a minty British, I'm done. In fact, I need to get rid of my crackly crappy copies, of which I have at least three!Labour of Lust is coming out on reissue, I posted about the vinyl sale they had at YepRoc a few weeks ago. If it is half as good as the reissue of Lowe's first album (which they expanded to a double: the British has slightly different versions of several songs), it will be a sonic pleasure!Great score, Laura.PaulPS I don't have a lot of patience for the dollar bin either. Don't tell the Pumpkin!
