Tangents in Jazz by the Jimmy Giuffre Four. Picked up a beautiful M- copy recorded in 1955, released in 56. This is really good jazz. Giuffre was experimenting with a sound that wasn't percussion beat driven, allowing two horns or horn and clarinett to drive most of the music with bass and drums filling in spaces. I've got to say, this is a very Cool sound.Don't think it's available in stereo, but look for it!
I've never seen this label-- HK MarcoPolo of Hong Kong Records. In the corner in small print "Recorded in Association with Bose"For two bucks, you gotta take a chance.
I have a constant stream of vinyl coming in at the moment. I have been buying LP's in bulk lots and have added over 300 in the last 2 months. That is what happens when you buy new turntables yes i bought 2 and new speakers. And i'm loving the great sound of vinyl once again.
If I may ask, how are you cleaning your vinyl? I found that a good cleaning routine made a large difference in enjoyment of my records.
