Returned from St. Augustine after going to the Violent Femmes concert at the St. Augustine Amplitheater. Before the show my wife and I stopped by the Tone Vendor record store and came out with some great music, the Counting Crows and Muddy Waters were birthday gifts from my wife purchased off Discogs and Heckler here on audiocircle.
I bartered for these classics. A handful of reefer (very appropriate ) for 13 psychedelic era classics. Not a bad deal, eh?
NM Brubeck plays Brubeck on a dutch Phillips recording, $10and a NM Brubeck at Oberline on Fantasy, $10and then.... the hit of the week, an original 1957 release of Saxophone Colossus in VG++/EX condition- and he threw it in for FREE!This is two weeks in a row I've walked out of the record store with ~$500 values basically for free
Nice catch! Do you mind to share the picture of the original Colossus vinyl so I know how it looks like?
