Are these with 108's or 126's?  Where are you located?

That's a steal for only $400. I love these speakers...wish I had proper corners in my listening room!

From The Horn Shoppe website:
"Hand built, single driver loudspeakers that are rear loaded, folded, corner horns. Designed to be placed in the corners of the room and capable of  high  SPL using SET (or other flea power) amplifiers. Corner placement is not required but suggested for maximum extension and output."

Many users place them out into the room and some of these use Ed's "cube" or another bass augmenter/subwoofer.

$400 is less than 1/2 of what a new pair will cost.  A new pair will take "time" to break in...  In short, this is a great opportunity to buy a pretty decent pair of speakers that can be driven to a loud volume with just a few watts.

There are plenty of reviews at the THE HORNSHOPPE WEBSITE

How are these still for sale?  Anyone thinking about these speakers that hasn't heard them, I'll strongly encourage you to buy them unheard.  They are really, really great speakers.

$400 is a super sweet deal :thumb: and Lin (the seller) is as straight up.

I paid more for mine which were not as nice as these.

In the 10 years that Ed has been making these speakers he has offered a money back satisfaction guarantee.  Only two people returned them in all that time. :thumb:

Thanks guys for all the kind words about the Horns

I had to reply to this post....for accuracy....Wind Chaser, I know you wouldn't want to mislead anyone and to that end I must state I have had in fact more than 2 pair returned in the last ten years! I really don't remember the exact number but it's not many,.......one every couple or 3 years or so. It's to be expected.

Thanks again guys.

Come to think of it I was going on old information that dated back to a conversation we had back in 2003.
