I have modded and tested a couple of Sony Playstations. The result was that I sold my Sony SCD-1 as the modded PlayStation was so much better. I now have two for sale, incorporating the mods to the output circuitry as described on the dogbreath site and I/R remote control. No changes have been made to the PS as I have (so far) not found it to be worthwhile. There is a full description of the equipment over at
