There won't be a review of the MiniWatt-badged N3 amplifier on 6moons. Given the above, I decided to stay clear for a bit. It's also peculiar that APPJ would play two parties against the middle. Perhaps that's simply good business - to go with the highest bidder? Perhaps. But from the distance, there's simply no way no be sure what's really going on. Which doesn't reflect on the product's quality. I simply don't want to be taken for a ride...

I can imagine your frustration as a profecional reviewer.
Mini Watt example reflects on mentality that impregnated deeply into chinese industry's way of conducting business.
It is very sad.

I wonder which version of the MW/APPJ this might be?

Looks like the original Miniwatt to me given the tube compliment.

Too bad about the review, but I certainly understand given the circumstances.

That's not like my MW. It's taller, with an extra watt per channel and sports 4 and 8 ohm connections.

Can't wait to hear reviews of it. I believe some folks got N3s a little before now. So hopefully impressions can start pouring in.

And if anyone wants to sell me their original model MiniWatt to upgrade, shoot me a PM.

Hoping someone can help.

I've got a S1 on the way from an ebay seller, date of manufacture unknown. I'm wanting to see if the cap mod has been done but cant find any working photos of the mod, does anyone have a close up photo they could possibly email me?

I've read the description but being fairly clueless about electronics I'd feel better seeing a photo, especially if I have to do the mod myself.

If I need to do the mod, are these caps stand-ins for the Digikey one (which would cost $30! shipped to Australia)

Thanks for any help.

I reviewed an n3 here, supplied by the Australian distributor:

....but its CE status remains unclear.
