Two questions please:

I have just heard the rumor that ACI may be releasing some new subs based on the recent Servo technology.  Are you able to confirm this?  I have been seriously thinking about ordering another sub from you, but may wait for new ACI Servo products if you recommend it.

Also please Mike: For a music (not home theater) system, do you personally think the Servo approach in subs, produces a better audible result than your excellent tried-and-true sealed class AB (conventional) design?  I ask this because I absolutely love our Force XL, it is just outstanding.

I have no idea where this rumor is coming from. We have no plans for implementing servo subs. You've already answered the second question. A servo sub is not necessary to achieve superb results

Thanks for putting the rumor to rest Mike.  Works for me!   

I also take from your reply, that you definitely do not personally believe the Servo approach offers anything audibly worthwhile beyond what your own subs already provide.  When enjoying the Force XL in our system, I must admit it's hard to imagine what (or how) a Servo sub could possibly do better.

Perhaps you were thinking of Ascend acoustics who are featuring these servo subs?
