Hiya Vance,

Gotcha marked down. I think you'll find some fun stuff out here when you come. If nothing else, my SET rig completely different than what you've been listening to.

See you in a few weeks  :thumb:

You won't need directions. Just drive west with your windows open and you'll find us.

I should be able to come, and probably +1 with my friend Andrew who keeps complaining about how he missed it last year.  Will Ryan be showing off his speakers again?

Hi Scott,

I'd like to be there, but I'll need to double check the Fox Theater "Phantom" schedule. It's starting up in late Sept. and running 8 shows a week for 4 weeks. I'll be back in touch.

Yo Scott
Count me in too, what a great RMAF "Tune-up".

Mark with 2.5 vdc,5.0 vdc and 6.3vdc, ... well we could try a pair of Globe  183's in your amp @ 5.0 vdc or I got a pair of VT-52's that run at 6.3 vdc and sound great at 45/2A3 O.P.'s
Also I'll bring a pair of JJ-2A3-40 for you to try too they sound really good!

   See ya in Sept.

My wife is O*U*T.
That means I can cuss, smoke and drink more.  aa

Although, I will do my best to get her to make us some Mosticcolli.

My favorite event of the year, but I am afraid it is my Father's birthday and we are off to see him that weekend, not sure how many we have remaining so we plan to make the best of everyone we can!

Have a scotch for me and enjoy everyone!

Time for a mid-week bump....

Bo, got you down. I send you a PM with directions. Jamie, if plans change, be sure to head this way.

Looks like we've got the basic dinner menu down. This is what it looks like;

Bandana's BBQ
Laura is going to make her Potato casserole
We'll also have assorted munchies (chips, dip, and a veggie tray)

What you guys can bring (if you want) is a side dish, desert, fruit plate or something along those lines. Do me a favor and post what you are going to bring so that we all have an idea of who is bring what.

So far it looks like a nice sized crowd, 25+.  :thumb:

Add another there Scott.  I work that day, but should be able to get there by about 7 or so.
Somebody ALways has to come late at Christmas!
You still going to be eating then?  Don't want to 'bloat' ya's.
I'll think of some sort of desert or munchie.

Scott, you can take my wife off the list, but add her Mostaccioli to the buffet.
Thanks man,

Got you guys down  :thumb:

Bill, plenty will be happening after 7:00, I'm sure.

I've updated the initial post with attendees and what they are bringing (munchies). As people post, I'll continue to update that post to keep things consolidated.
The Original Post

Hey new(er) guys! I haven't seen any of you post that you are coming. You should try to make it as it is really a good time. Sure, it may not be optimal for critical listening but it does give you a feel for a number of different systems they you probably haven't experienced before. That and its a great social event. Very relaxed, good people, lots of munchies and things to drink. Heck, I've even got a pretty OK home theater for you HT guys. That and if you hear something that really trips your trigger, you are always invited out for a more critical listening session.

So mitch stl, no1maestro, Know Talent, BigRick, jwes, drbrad98 and anyone else I may have forgotten, you guys are invited too. Just post and I'll PM you my address. I live on the other side of Six Flags up in the hills. Its not a bad ride at all (in good weather). Our place isn't huge but we've got enough different listening rooms and areas to relax that no area usually gets too overcrowded. We usually start about 2:00 and go until at least midnight.
