I appreciate your point of view.  I went to a live jazz event last night and I have the upright bass I heard fresh in my mind.  I am culling through the list you suggested a few posts back.

Just saw this guitar duo at Jazz at Sunset (college of Dupage, IL) festival on Saturday, 29th.  The sonics of thier first CD is extremely good!
