Updated V3DP's

I had Rick design the V3DP's for me 2 summers ago (you can see the originals in the gallery on his website) http://www.selahaudio.com/id103.html.  That was my first cabinet build and I was almost immediately wanting to redo them.  Well, I finally got around to making a new pair and thought I should post them.  The 2nd picture is a wider shot of my audio/hometheater room that includes one of Rick's center channels...a Whomp subwoofer is in the left corner but didn't make it into the picture.

Thanks for your kind words!  It's a product I found at Lowes that is used for wainscoting.  This particular style is called Coffee Bean Leather (they have others such as Maple).  It's basically a paper face on a 1/8" thick plywood panel.  I really liked it and remembered how Talon uses inset panels in their speakers (I owned a pair of Ravens a while back) and thought I would give it a try.  I wasn't sure about the paper surface at first, but it held up well.

Thanks!  As far as the woofer...it's a Vifa MA26.  I can't find the plans Rick sent but that's the number at the top of the measurement pages that came with the plans.
