I am just about to embark on the build of my Cornet2

. I am now building the two chassis out of wood, yes, I said 2 chassis. I want to separate the power supply section from the phono preamp section in the hopes that it will reduce noise. It may be overkill but what the heck, let's see what turns out.
My question is this;
Which parts, or should I say up to which point of the kit, should be allocated in the power supply chassis? I have some ideas of my own, but if anyone has done this and has some experience in it, that would be great (Jim, your input on this would be appreciated too). Separating the supply does allow me to split the two at any point after rectification or the filtering section, so it would be interesting to hear opinions on this.
I will be wiring the power supply in point-to-point fashion and then using the PCB for the main preamp, thus leaving a portion of the power supply section unpopulated.
I hope to offer some photos when all is done. Thanks.
