Wayne's custom color cherry HT2-TL's
« on: 25 Jun 2009, 06:27 pm »
Wayne wanted a pair of HT2-TL's in curly cherry, but wanted to match some furniture he had.  We often work off of photographs, but having an actual wood sample helps immensely as we don't have to worry about camera color balance, lighting or the color balance of the monitor we happen to be viewing it on.

Here are the results...

And a close up...

And a shot of the door we used to match the color...

Happy listening Wayne!

Cut it out Jim! Those things look fantastic.

I don't need HT2-TLs, I don't need HT2-TLs, I don't need HT2-TLs...  :?

That's a perfect color match.  And the cherry veneer is gorgeous!  Another fine job by Jim.

Jim,

WOW! ... STUNNING VENEER MATCH! Now even my wife is eager to see the FedEx truck arrive.

Looking forward to hearing our music library taken to the next level while enjoying your impeccable 'eye-candy' craftsmanship. Well done!

Wayne just reminded me of another first represented by these speakers.

A few years ago, I was talking about veneers and finishes to the President of Sony Music USA in Nashville.  I recall thinking it would be cool to have a pair of our speakers in the office of the President of Sony Music USA.  But before he could place an order, a corporate re-shuffle transferred the headquarters to New York and he was out of a job.  So our first Nashville client never materialized.

It always struck me as odd that we had no customers in Nashville.  The thought even occurred to me that we should consider moving our operations to Music City, USA.  Now we won't have to.  This pair will be the very first pair of speakers we have shipped to Nashville.

Thanks for the opportunity Wayne! Hopefully a rash of musicians will follow your lead.

Wayne's got a custom cherry?  :icon_lol:
Lucky guy!

Now if they sound as good as they look ... (and I'm sure they do) ... you should be a very happy man indeed.

I say move your operations to Nashville ... it will save me some freight $$$ when it comes time to upgrade.

In the meantime, I'll see what I can do to grow your Music City business.

Sweeet   Exquisite work as usual Jim. :thumb:  You'll love the equally exquisite sound Wayne. Nice finish. Oh yes Wayne, don't forget the requisite pics of the FedEx truck.
