That was funny Jeff and damned original. So with any luck I'll be posting soon... gonna have nothing but time for this week. Now I have to learn to navigate the stairs, the listening room is in the basement and I'm looking at 3 months of crutches.

Again, thanks fellas, sure put a smile on my face.  aa

That's what staples and screws are for!!

Good luck Mike.

Hopefully, the staples and screws are Cryogenically Continously Cast Oxygen Free Cu with 24K Au plating, made of 27 strands of wire arranged in alternating braid of three, braided in threes again, with another braid of threes acting as a shield--
all covered in a Teflon sheath.  We wouldn't want you coming out of surgery picking up the local radio stations or going around humming a 60Hz note.

Hope you have a quick recovery.

When I was on crutches with a boot from foot surgeries, the easiest and safest thing for stairs was just to go backwards on my bum

Talked to Mike last night and he was really surprised by the outpouring of concern and good wishes.  He was actually deeply touched by the actions of his friends on AC.  Thanks guys for taking the time to wish him well.  He's in dreamland about now and if he is too tired to let you know how things went, I'll give you a shout.  Knowing Mike he will be on computer with his favorite Tube CAD program.

Look out, he'll have weeks to think; I want to see his next power supply!

I'm rightfully shy  about posting in The Lab area (so meager are my DIY skills).

But a post to welcome Mike Galusha a speedy recovery....THAT'S one I can respond to :thumb:
