I am not that familiar with this tube type as I am sure not many others are.  What tubes can this be used in lieu of?  I think I've read that this is a 6SN7 type, so can it be used in most 6sn7 positions.  Do you have a datasheet on them?

yes it can be used for most 6SN7 position, and can replace 6SN7GT / 6N8P tubes - both are commonly used in many tube amps.

Haven't seen much interest on these amazing tubes - maybe because we don't have a professional review available yet. TNT-audio.com is reviewing them but may take a bit time to have it published. These tubes look great, but they are very expensive to me. I think the price is why you haven't seen more interest. Sound wise, I understand they are very good.

Even at the sale price, these are more expensive than any TungSol roundplates, Sylvania metal base, etc, I've ever bought in the past.  That was a couple years back, but still...

Noted the price concerns. Unfortunately we cannot do much more than the current promotion. Shuguang Treasure tubes factory cost is a more than what Tung-Sol are sold at retail, not to mention distribution costs.

I would love to hear from a Tung-Sol owner of how the Shuguang tubes compare to them. However, if affordability is out of reach, we certainly understand why these tubes may not get to everyone's hands. They are not meant to be mass production tubes as the generic Shuguang tubes do.

We will see what we can do with the factory, but chances are slim.

Highly respected online Hi-Fi review magazine has just published review for Shuguang Treasure CV181-Z:

Reviewer Mark Wheeler says :"I have spent many long hours burning-in and auditioning NOS 6SN7 (there's so many to choose from) and the Shuguang CV181Z beats them all with maybe 50 hours on them and they claim to need 300 hours."
